Wholesale building materials online
In building materials an order means tonnes and cubic metres, the price depends on the volume and on who is buying, and deadlines are tied to the construction project. Kup2B gives the supplier a catalogue where the contractor and the shop each see their own price, and the shipping time is calculated from the warehouse workload.
Registration by tax ID (INN), for companies (LLCs) and sole proprietors. The first 10 days after the company is verified are free.
What matters in wholesale building materials
Units and pack multiples
Products are sold by the piece, metre, kilogram, square or cubic metre, or pack. The order multiple will not let anyone order half a bag or a third of a pallet: the quantity in the cart is rounded up to a whole pack.
Different prices for contractor and shop
Price types and buyer groups: one column for a construction company, another for a retail shop. Within a column the price falls in tiers as the quantity grows.
Price request for a project
For a large volume the buyer sends a price request for a list of items. You reply with an offer with a validity date; once it is accepted, the items go into the buyer’s cart at the agreed price.
Shipping time by weight and volume
The product has a weight and dimensions; the warehouse has a working schedule and a number of kilograms and cubic metres it can pick per day. The order lead time is calculated from these, not promised by eye.
How it is set up: examples
- Cement in 50 kg bags
- Unit — piece, order multiple — 40 (a pallet), minimum quantity — 40. The buyer adds 100 bags and the cart suggests 120: three full pallets.
- Insulation in packs
- Unit — pack, minimum quantity — 4. The listing gives the weight and dimensions of the pack: a bulky but light order will take the warehouse as many days as its daily cubic-metre capacity requires.
- Cable in coils
- Unit — metre, order multiple — 100. The price is lower from 500 metres and lower still from 2,000: the tiers match the coils, so the order can always be picked.
- Delivery to the site
- A delivery method has a minimum order amount and an amount from which delivery is free. Pickup from the warehouse is a separate method, with no threshold.

Warehouses
Add warehouse: address, main warehouse, shipping schedule. Without a warehouse, goods are not published.

It's empty. Press "Add.".
The name of the warehouse, for example, "Main warehouse".

Include “By default”: this warehouse will be the main one. The Active Switch is already on.
Save it.
The warehouse appeared on the list, and the clue about the warehouse disappeared.
The mode of operation of the warehouse is configured separately: we open the "Shipping and Schedule".
Here are set working days, holidays and the deadline for assembling the order. By default, the warehouse works every day.
Next in the series: Categories, properties and catalogue tags.
