Q: When is a transfer and acceptance certificate needed?

When property is handed over under a contract: equipment on lease, goods for storage, customer-supplied raw materials, documents — and also when it is returned. The certificate records the moment of transfer and the condition of the property.

Q: Is there a mandatory form?

No, the form is free. It is important to state the parties, the date, the basis, the list and condition of the property, and to sign.

Q: Does the value have to be stated?

Preferably: liability for loss or damage is calculated from it. If the value does not matter, enter zero.

Confirmation that one company has handed over and the other has accepted the property in the stated quantity and condition.
