Catalogue categories

Category — section yours catalog. There is no general classifier at the site: each seller builds a section tree himself and is responsible for it himself, there is no moderation of categories.

How to start

Cabinet Categories "Add": name, code (substituted from the name by the transliterate - it will fall into the address of the section) and, if necessary, the parent category. Any nesting, the tree is shown indentations.

• Description - optional text, it is displayed on the section page and helps search engines.
• Sorting - order in the list; with equal values, the sections go by name.
• Active. Uncheck the box to temporarily remove the section from the directory without deleting it.

Only the category can be removed. subcategorylessRemove or move the nested partitions first, otherwise the entire branch would go with the node. Next to the name, you can see how many products are in the section.

How products fall into sections

Category or tag

Category- structure catalog: one product usually lies in one section, the buyer walks on wood and breadcrumbs. Tag -- marker: "Sale", "Hits", "Under order"; the product can carry as many labels as you like, and it is convenient to assign prices for them (Product tags).

What the buyer sees
