Price rules for counterparties

The retail price is visible to everyone (unless it is turned off). Individual prices are more convenient to set not by hand, but by hand. price-politicianThe rule counts the price of one type from another.

What politics consists of

• Basic type and target-type Prices: “from the RRC we consider wholesale”Price types).
• Who? (addressees): everyone, a group of buyers or a particular counterparty.
• What? (area): all goods, category, tag or individual product. The rule on the category applies to all its subcategories: the rule on “Light” applies to “Light → Chandeliers → Crystal”.
• Rules One or more lines:
  • discount minus N % of the baseline;
  • discount - minus N rubles;
  • fixed-price - a hard price instead of calculation;
  • markup, interest - plus N percent. Each line may have conditions: minimum number (volume steps) and base price range.
• Rounding - down, up or to the nearest with a given step (for example, up to 10 rubles).
• Priority. period (from what date) and the "Active" flag.

How the price is chosen

1. Point price set to a specific counterparty (including from the accepted price request).
2. The total price of this type from the product card.
3. Politicians with this target type. If several are suitable, one is taken - how exactly, see the next section.
4. If nothing fits - RRC, and when the display of retail is turned off - "Price on request".

If several policies are appropriate

The goods and the buyer can be suitable for several policies at once - for example, a general discount for all and a separate discount for the category. The platform compares them in order; the next item decides only if the previous policy is equal.

1. Priority. Politics with high priority comes first. This is the main lever: priority outweighs anything lower.
2. For who. Policy for a particular counterparty is stronger than policy for a group, and it is stronger than policy for all.
3. For what. Product policy is stronger than tag policy, then category, then catalog.
4. Proximity of category. The category policy applies to all of its subcategories. All other things being equal, politics wins by a category closer to the commodity: politics on Chandeliers is stronger than politics on its Light section, and politics on Light operates where subcategories do not have their own politicians.
5. With full equality Policies created earlier.

Apply the first suitable policy, which gave the price above zero: if the product does not have a base price or the calculation gave zero, the site moves to the next in order.

Example. There are two policies: "-10% on the Tool" and "-15% on the Tool → Drill". The priority of both is the same, both are “for all”, both are in the category – the proximity decides: the drill acts – 15%, the rest of the tool – 10%. If the policy on the “Instrument” to put the priority higher, it will win – and the drill will also be 10%.

Why the policy hasn't worked

The most common reason is The counterparty’s price type does not match the target policy typeThe policy “from the RRC consider wholesale” works only for those who have the type of prices “wholesale” (personally or through a group). Open the counterparty card: in the “Price Policy” block, you can see which policy is valid and which is waiting for its type of prices (Price Policy)Buyer groups and counterparties).

Other reasons: the policy is turned off or the expiration date is out; the product has no base type price (nothing to calculate); the counterparty is given a point price or the target type already has a common price - they are more important than politics.

Verification

Block. "Preview." on the page "Price Policy" shows the final price of a particular product for the selected counterparty and quantity - you can see what rule worked and from what base was considered. The calculation is the same as in the catalog and basket, according to the saved politicians: correct the policy - save it and click "Calculate" again. Check on "boundary" quantities: exactly on the steps and one less.
